Our tour guide Joseph was very knowledgeable and made a huge effort to see all the animals for us. We felt very safe on the road and around the animals. There were many great perks for the price such as free airport transfers, free village tours. Esther's communication was excellent and everything was very smooth and enjoyable. We recently returned from a 5-day trip to Kenya and booked our tour through Leisureway Adventures from start to finish, the entire experience was very well organised and truly memorable. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, covering all the highlights we wanted to see, while still allowing us enough time to relax and enjoy each destination. The accommodations, park entries, and activities were all arranged smoothly without us having to worry about a single detail. We were provided with a comfortable Land Cruiser throughout the trip, which made travelling between the parks and game drives very enjoyable. Most importantly, our driver, Victor, was excellent—professional, punctual, knowledgeable about the parks and wildlife, and extremely kind and patient with us. He made the game drives exciting by spotting animals we would have surely missed and sharing interesting facts about them. Not a great experience. Gave very bad advise, in orde to sell us as many safari's as possible, wich resulted in us spending most of our holiday in a car going from one parc to the next, with not enough time to actually do the safari as planned. We had to skip a safari (500$ wasted) because we just did not have the time, even though we were on the move every day by 6 am. We were always told it would be a few hours drive from A to B, but it always ended up being more than double that time. Hotel was changed last minute without us being informed, and the new place did not have a pool, something we thought was important for the children after a full day in the car. The guide that took us around was good, but he does not work for leisureway, he is hired as needed. My wife, two daughters (10 and 16 y.o.) experienced an 8-day long safari organised by Leisure Adventures during early February 2025 in Kenya. I had several safari experiences throughout Africa (Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Namibia) 10+ years before from my long professional career in Africa. Thus, I knew upfront what to expect "on average" from "safaris". I can now just say that the Leisureway Team greatly exceeded my "average" till date! The trip was perfectly organized (prior to it I customized it with them to the absolute detail by way of 2-3 iterations over emails and whatsap). Jared and Sylus provided very good advice, and I recommend hearing them well while you are in the "design" stage (starting from the most detailed elements of the safari, hotels, transfers, through to medicine, clothes, change money, etc)! After arrival, Leisureway Team was guiding us from A to Z since the show up at Nairobi airport, through to the Safari in Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru, through to Mombasa hotel (and fought back to back on-site, my way, with the hotel management!), through to the departure. We were meet by the Leisureway Management on-hand on occassion of each major portion of the trip. As a result of that, the safari proved to be an absolute life-time experience for my family! Fast forward: I should have decided for at least couple of more days (one more in the Parks, and at least one, or two more in Diani near Mombasa). I recommend your experiencing also the first class train going from Mombasa to Nairobi through the park (elephants visiblee!).
